Sulforaphane is an exciting new ingredient for the detoxification category. It’s a bioactive compound derived from broccoli and broccoli spouts, formed when ‘sulforaphane glucosinolate’ is converted to sulforaphane by an enzyme present in the broccoli plant.
Sulforaphane is known for its potent antioxidant properties. Most detox supplements use ‘sulforaphane glucosinolate’ which is the inactive storage form. Bend only uses sulforaphane, the active form.
