Marine Collagen Chocolates

Hi, I’m Jennifer Galardi and I am a Bend Beauty Brand Ambassador.

I love knowing what’s in my chocolate. The ability to control the amount of sugar makes me happy. Bend Beauty’s Coconut Marine Collagen + Co-Factors adds some sweetness just a tablespoon of maple syrup keeps the sugar content per piece low. I get my cacao products from Terra Soul as I trust their quality and sourcing.

Recipe:

1/4 cup cacao butter

1 tbsp coconut oil

3 tbsp cacao powder

1 tbsp Bend Collagen Coconut flavor

1/4 tsp salt

1 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla

Cinnamon optional

Add ins to try:

1 tbsp almond or peanut butter

1 tbsp peanut butter powder

2 tsp maca powder

Place cacao butter and coconut oil in a double boiler or heat safe pot in boiling water. Once melted, turn heat off but keep pot in water to keep the liquid from solidifying. Add all other ingredients and whisk together until smooth. Pour mixture into chocolate molds and place molds in freezer (you can always just use ice cube trays but your chocolates will be bigger). Because some molds bend easily, I place it on a cutting board to keep the chocolate from going all over the place. Freeze for about a 1/2 hour. Pop the chocolates out and keep in refrigerator. You won’t be able to eat just one.
