Collagen powder recipes are often quick and easy as they don’t require baking (high heat and collagen don’t mix). You can incorporate any nut, seed, dried fruit or spice into this chocolate bark recipe but keep the measurements the same. A big thank you Bend Brand Ambassador Diandra Phipps for the recipe.

Collagen Infused Chocolate Bark Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ cup chopped pecans (or any other nut/dried fruit)
  • 1/3 cup coconut ribbons/flakes
  • 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup cocoa or cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup Bend Marine Collagen + Co-Factors powder
  • pinch fine sea salt

Method

Gently melt the coconut oil in a double boiler/water bath. While you’re waiting, whisk the cocoa powder, Bend Marine Collagen powder, and salt together.

Once the coconut oil is melted, add the maple syrup and stir into the dried ingredients until smooth.

Add a quarter of the pecans and coconut ribbons to the mixture and spread it out on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with the remaining pecans and coconut ribbons and freeze for 15 minutes until firm, spreading it as thin or thick as you would like!
