Behind the Bend Team: Meet our Customer Support Specialist
This week on our Beautiful Life blog, we’re taking you behind the scenes at Bend. Meet Sarah Warren, our Customer Support Specialist. Whether you’re a wholesale account or customer, Sarah is likely who you’ve spoken to if you’ve ever called the office and had a question about Bend products. We chatted with Sarah to learn a little bit more about her role, and of course, which product is her favourite!
Tell us about your work experience and what led you to your role at Bend Beauty.
As many people can relate to, I stumbled into my chosen career in a totally unplanned way. My part-time job in high school at a local spa doing filing turned into a full-time front desk position during university, and then a full-time management role at another spa after graduation. Twelve years in the spa industry taught me so much about skin health, topical products and treatments, ingredients, and working with (mostly) women to educate and support them on their skincare journey. I have developed a true passion for the skincare industry and I am fascinated by the connection between what we put into our bodies and how we look and feel. After retailing Bend products since their inception, I was given the amazing opportunity to work for a brand that is changing the way we think about skincare. I couldn’t be happier to share the Bend Beauty story with everyone I talk to.
What does a typical day at work look like for you?
You can find me mostly online and over the phone answering customer questions about the products and ingredients. I’m helping our wholesale accounts stock their shelves and educate their staff as well as creating and planning different behind-the-scenes initiatives to support their success. Tell us about the most rewarding parts of your role.
I absolutely love hearing our customers success stories. Knowing that the team at Bend Beauty is committed to creating a unique and impactful experience for our customers is why I love what I do. Many people struggle with skincare issues that can not only cause low self-esteem or lack of confidence, but can also hamper one’s ability to be in the sun, use certain products, or even perform some activities. Being able to empower our customers to live their best life is an amazing experience.
What does creating a beautiful life mean to you?
To me, creating a beautiful life means living my most authentic and inspired life. Being true to who we are and seeking new life experiences is truly living!
What’s your favourite Bend product and why?
Bend Anti-Aging Formula is hands-down my favourite product. I started taking it to reduce redness, and improve my skin’s hydration. I get compliments on my skin ALL. THE. TIME, and I owe it to Anti-Aging Formula.
